The invention relates to a machine for piercing holes at equal distances in circular flanges. The machine comprises a horizontal flange-carrying plate 1 which can move rotationally about a vertical axis on a support framework 3, means 8 to 15 for positioning and wedging the flange to be pierced 7, a disc-shaped jig pierced with concentric circular series 26 of identification elements 27 which are equidistant and variable in number, and, fixed removably and coaxially to the said plate 1, a system 28 to 35 for angularly indexing the rotation of the said jig 25 making it possible to choose one of the said concentric series 26 and to move the plate 1 step by step, and a horizontal arm 19 which carries one or more marking-out and/or centre punching and/or drilling tools 18 and can move about a fixed vertical axis 20.
