PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sea trumpet (a kind of algae) having wide application range and high nutritive value, by steaming desalted raw sea trumpet with high-temperature steam, cutting into prescribed size, drying the cut pieces twice under specific condition and pulverizing with a pulverizer. CONSTITUTION:Raw sea trumpet is spontaneously dried and desalted by washing with water using e.g. a rotary washer. The desalted algae are steamed with high-temperature steam at 130-220 deg.C by e.g. a pressure cooker, taken out of the cooker and cut into 2-6cm square pieces. Immediately after cutting, the pieces are subjected to primary drying at 100-140 deg.C for 10-20min with a plane drier, etc., and subsequently to secondary drying with a rotary drier, etc., until water-content is decreased to <=15%. The objective sea trumpet is produced by finely pulverizing the dried product with a pulverizer. |
