PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of an error, and to obtain NC data with a high accuracy and a high reliability in a short time by searching a correction position on a tool position absolute value CL data, according to an instructed correction part and an instructed correction contents, and calculating and displaying the data after the correction. CONSTITUTION:When an instruction to correct a point A on a screen 34 into the point B is given by a graphic edition instructing device 11 (mouse), a control instruction analyzing means 7 analyzes that a dot which was A, on the screen was designated to be B, and the result is delivered to a CL data correcting means 12. The means 12 corrects a dot coordinate system into an X-Y coordinate system, and substitutes a CL data 32 B after the correction for the CL data 32A before the correction. Further, the data 32B is delivered to a graphic displaying means 5 by the means 12, and displayed on a display device 3. These operations of the correction and the display are repeated until the correction is decided to have been completed by operating a button on the mouse. Finally, an NC data converting means 13 converts the CL data, corrected in such a way, into the NC data of a form at the time of inputting.
