PURPOSE:To permit fluid to be heated to be utilized as the cooling agent for a primary winding, by a method wherein the primary winding is made by a metallic pipe to pass the fluid to be heated while the sending means of the fluid is provided in a secondary winding or a heat generating pipe. CONSTITUTION:A core 3 is wound by the coil of a primary winding 1, a pipe 1' among the primary windings and the conductor of a secondary winding, which becomes a heat generating body 2, while an electricity is supplied to the primary windings 1, 1' from a power source 4. The axis of the core is shown by X-Y while the flow direction of fluid to be heated and cooling agent is shown by arrow signs in a diagram. The fluid to be heated passes through an inflow pipe 1' from an introducing pipe 5 and cools the primary windings 1, 1' during passing through the inflow pipe 1', the fluid itself is heated while being pressurized by a pump 9 and passes the flow path 7 of the secondary winding through the inlet pipe 16 of the secondary winding, then, is heated to a high temperature during passing through the path 7, then thereafter, flows out of an outlet pipe 6. Insulating flanges 10, 11, are provided in the heater. The conductor 2 of the secondary winding is formed so as to have a cylindrical shape as a whole and forms a spiral flow passage in the wall of the cylinder while the conductor 2 is wound by a plurality of windings as the flow passage even though it is wound by one winding electrically.
