PURPOSE:To obtain stable and highly reliable joint with less contact resistance, by forming a groove between end faces of parallelarranged two extra fine conductors and by inserting a conductive auxiliary material into this groove and pressing it with a driving jig. CONSTITUTION:A V-shaped groove 8 is formed between conductors 1a of two jointly provided coil strands 1. An auxiliary material 7 is buried into this groove and by driving a punch 9 to cover the top surface of the auxiliary material with a conductor 1c. The conductor 1c enclosing the top surface of the auxiliary material 7 is driven by another punch 10 and pressed. A round projection 11 is integrally formed at the bottom of this punch 10, with which the conductor 1c notched from the conductor 1a and extended to the top surface of the auxiliary material 7 is driven and pressed. After the conductor 1c was pressed with the punch 10, it is given a load so that the diameter of the auxiliary material 7 may be reduced less than 50 % of the diameter before it is pressed. The oxide film is removed by flowing the material of the auxiliary material 7 to afford the effect of pressure welding.
