PURPOSE:To reduce the wasteful power consumption in an inverter device at the motor stopping time by applying a triangular wave to a sinusoidal wave, and comparing the deformed current command wave with the prescribed positive and negative levels to obtain bipolar PWM pulse train. CONSTITUTION:A sinusoidal wave outputted from a sinusoidal wave generator 4 and a triangular wave outputted from a triangular wave generator 5 are added by an adder 6. The superposed sinusoidal wave obtained from this result is supplied to a positive side comparator 7 and a negative side comparator 8, and compared by the prescribed positive and negative levels. Positive polarity and negative polarity pulse trains from the comparators 7, 8 are added by an adder 10, and bipolar PWM pulse trains are led out. |
