<p>PURPOSE:To easily settle a paper jam, by providing a pressure-contact releasing lever which releases a driven roller from a state where the roller is pressure- contacted with a driving roller at the timing of opening an upper frame. CONSTITUTION:When an upper frame 17 is opened in the opposite way, the projecting part 32 of a pressure-contact releasing lever 31 is opened and projected from a lower frame 11 and the upper part of the lever 31 moves in the pulling direction of a tension spring 35 around a fulcrum 34. Since, in such state, the engaging part 33 of the pressure-contact releasing lever 31 is engaged with the supported shaft 15a of a paper carrying driven roller 15 and further pushed in the opposite direction with the shaft 15a working as a lever, the driven roller 15 which is pressure-contacted with a driving roller 14 by means of a pressure-contact spring 36 is automatically separated from the driving roller 14. Therefore, a paper cassette, etc., housed in a paper housing part 12 is pulled out leftward under such condition. Accordingly paper 23' jamming in a bent paper running path part 13 can be removed easily, and thus, paper jam settlement can be made easily.</p> |
