In a device on a motor vehicle with an internal-combustion engine as drive source, with an accelerator pedal and with transmission means for controlling the power of the internal-combustion engine, as well as with a service brake, having a brake pedal, there is provided a sensor which, when the service brake is actuated, prevents a power output of the internal-combustion engine which exceeds the idling power. The sensor can be combined with a further sensor on the accelerator pedal, the further sensor preventing a power output also when the accelerator pedal is not actuated. |
