摘要

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R is 1-7C straight-chain alkyl; group shown by formula III is wholly trans(equatorial-equatorial) configuration]. EXAMPLE:A compound shown by formula IV. USE:A fluorine nematic liquid crystal compound having high N-I point and low S-N point. PREPARATION:1-Bromo-3,4-difluorobenzene is reacted with magnesium to give Grignard reagent, which is reacted with a compound shown by formula II by the use of palladium (II) chloride as a catalyst to give a compound shown by formula I.
