PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce the talking time and the job of the operator by connecting directly a telephone line of a desired extension telephone set and an external telephone set in calling an extension telephone set by the external telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a total representative telephone set 3a of a prescribed company or the like is called by the pushbutton operation of an external telephone set 1 and the pushbutton of the telephone set 1 is operated again to designate a prescribed extension telephone set 3, a telephone line between the designated extension telephone set 3 and the external telephone set 1 is connected. Thus, the connection of the telephone line is connected automatically or manually to a private branch of exchange where a telephone line of plural extensions telephone set and the external telephone set are connected via a representative telephone set to save the talking time with the operator thereby connecting the external telephone set and the extension telephone set in a short time.
