PURPOSE:To simply and easily manufacture the worked product of hard-to-work alloy, by coating the surface of the fine grains of nonductile material with prescribed amounts of high-ductile material and by subjecting the aggregate of the coated grains to compaction by cold rolling reduction and then to annealing so as to alloy both materials. CONSTITUTION:The alloy-forming metallic components of an alloy material difficult or practically incapable of cold forming are stored into high-ductile metallic elements or alloy (high-ductile material) and metallic elements, alloy, or intermetallic compounds (nonductile material) inferior in ductility. Subsequently, the fine grains of the nonductile material of 0.1-20mum grain size are prepared, and the surface of these fine grains are coated with the high-ductile material by using an electroless plating method, etc. At this time, coating weight is regulated so that composition of the desired hard-to- work alloy is reached. The aggregate of the resulting coated grains is subjected to compaction by cold rolling reduction to join the coating high-ductile material together so as to be formed into a preformed body having a composite structure in which the above-mentioned fine grains are dispersed in the joined coating high-ductility material. This preformed body is worked into the final shape, which is annealed to undergo alloying of the nonductile-material grains and the high-ductile material so as to be formed into the worked product of the hard-to-work alloy.
