An anti-lock control device for motor vehicles has a throttle flap (12) loaded by the accelerator pedal (11) and located in the intake pipe of the internal-combustion engine. An anti-lock control circuit (16) forms a control signal which brings about, counter to the effect of the accelerator pedal (11), a closing movement of the throttle flap (12) to such an extent that the wheel slip is counteracted. Inserted into the path of action between the accelerator pedal (11) and the throttle flap (12) is a mechanical/hydraulic actuator (13) which is connected to a hydraulic pressure source (14) and a return reservoir (15) and to the anti-lock control circuit (16) and which adjusts the throttle flap (12) to a greater or lesser extent in a closing direction in dependence on the control signal supplied. <IMAGE>
