PURPOSE:To enlarge the freedom when a passenger forms the seat use plan of a train or the like by automatically reserving the seat to be requested next without increasing idle reservation when the reservation of the requested seat is invalidated. CONSTITUTION:For reserving the seat, the passenger uses a reservation device 1 and inputs a requested date, train and the like in a CPU 3. At that time, the requested train and the train of a second request, which is more late than the requested train are inputted. A clock mechanism 33 provided in the CPU 3 has a start time at every train number, and executes interruption into a processing part 32 with setting a time when it comes to a time earlier than a previously set time as an invalid time. If it comes to the invalid time, the processing part 32 searches a seat file 35, detects the seat number which has been reserved and which has not been issued, reads a sub-seat reservation number in the file 35 and reads the corresponding train of the second request. If the seat of the train of the second request is vacant as a result, a reservation content is automatically rewritten into the train of the second request. Thus, freedom when the passenger forms the seat use plan of the train and the like can be enlarged. |
