PURPOSE:To provide the titled nutrient agent containing a specific oligopeptide as a main component, having excellent taste and flavor, free from disagreeable bitter taste, quickly and highly absorbable through digestive tracts and suitable for the nutrition in digestion and absorption function disorder, remedy for malnutrition, baby food, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective nutrient agent is produced by using an oligopeptide having a peptide chain length of 2-10, preferably 3-6 as a main component. The peptide is preferably those produced by hydrolyzing soybean protein at pH7-9 in the presence of endo- and exo-type proteases produced by microorganism belonging to Aspergillus genus or Streptomyces genus and inactivating the enzyme. |
