The undertyre is intended to prevent danger in the event of a defect in tyres which are filled with air. It can be mounted under any currently customary air-filled tyre on to the currently customary rims. Since the undertyre consists of solid rubber or a similarly flexible material, it prevents complete flat running in the event of damage to the tyre. Because the undertyre is somewhat smaller than the air-filled tyre, it does not prevent the said tyre from functioning normally. It is only effective in the event of damage, supporting the tyre so that it cannot run completely flat. <IMAGE>
