PURPOSE:To prevent over charge by connecting a Zener diode to a recharging circuit. CONSTITUTION:Current generated from a solar cell 1 passes through a diode 6 in a recharging circuit 4 and recharges a battery 2. Consequently, the battery 2 is recharged gradually and reaches a fully recharged state. When the potential of the battery 2 exceeds a predetermined level, current flows automatically to a Zener diode 3 because of its characteristic. When the current is consumed in a resistor 5, it does not reach the battery 2 side so as to disable recharging thus preventing over charge.
