PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization and improvement in safety of the van in the caption by liftably providing the primary side of a transformer on the earth side while the secondary side thereof on the van side, and at the time of charging a battery, making the primary side approximate to the secondary side so as to excite the transformer through an AC power supply. CONSTITUTION:In order to charge a battery 3, a van 2 is moved toward a charging controller 6 so that a charging demand is sent to the controller 6 by means of communication units 2a, 6a. Therefore, the controller 6 operates an elevating device 7 so as to make the primary side 5b of a transformer approximate to the secondary side 5a thereof mounted on the van 2 and also to excite the transformer through an AC power supply. In addition, the battery charging device 4 of the van 2 is operated, thereby charging the battery 3. As soon as charging is completed, the charging device 4 is stopped, and then a charging completion signal is outputted, so that the primary side 5b is lowered by means of the controller 6. This constitution makes any handling device unnecessary, thereby aiming at miniaturization and improvement in safety, of the van in the caption. |
