PURPOSE:To obtain the title toner having improved photosensitivity, excellent dispersibility and thermal stability by incorporating a specified disazo pigment in particles composed of a thermoplastic resin as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The disazo pigment 1 shown by formula I is incorporated in the particles composed of the thermoplastic resin 3 as the main component. In the formula, A is phenylene or naphthylene group, X is -O- or -S- group, etc. The photostability and the fixing property of the title toner are improved, and the thermal stability and the dispersibility are improved by using the disazo pigment 1 for the photoconductive substance of the title toner. The title toner contg. the photoconductive material which sufficiently keeps the function necessary for a toner powder layer is obtd. |
