<p>PURPOSE:To carry out wire extending work safely and easily by cutting wire temporarily stopped with temporal stopping tools in front of a wire extending truck, then fixing tension clamps to respective ends of the cut wire. CONSTITUTION:Wire 3 is cut in front of a wire extending truck 7. Here, the wire 3 is temporarily stopped with a come-along 14a in a temporal wire stopping tool 14 comprising the come-along 14a, a wire 15, a proper hoist (not shown), etc., before the wire 3 is cut. Then tension clamps (compression clamps) 4 are fixed to the opposite ends of the cut wire 3, and a coupling metal (or a come- along-less metal when the wire is stretched without using a come-along) 16 is fixed to the compression clamp 4 which is fixed to the laying wire 3. One end of main cut wire 5 wound around a wire extending truck 8 is fixed through a wire connector 17 to the coupling metal 16. Thereafter, tension is applied onto the extending wire 3 and the temporal wire stopping tool 14 is removed.</p> |
