For motor vehicles equipped with a simple, deployable roof cover (sun-roof) or else with a tilt-and-slide sun-roof, it is proposed to use, in place of the cassette which hitherto customarily reached under the roof cutout in the vehicle body, had to be manufactured and fitted separately and essentially forms a rain channel, a corresponding recess of a roof liner designed as a shaped roof liner, the shaped roof liner being capable of being divided into a plurality of sections which are hinged to one another and follow one another in the direction of travel, in case the shaped roof liner should be used in connection with a flat tilt-and-slide sun-roof. <IMAGE>
