PURPOSE:To control the development of malodor in the evaporation and concentration of a waste photographic processing soln. and to control the generation of free sulfur, etc., by returning a part of the evaporated component condensed by a condensing means to an evaporating means, and controlling the temp. of the evaporating waste soln. to a temp. at which ebullition is not caused. CONSTITUTION:The heating means 10 and evaporating means 1 for heating, evaporating, and concentrating a waste photographic processing soln. and condensing means 16-18 for cooling and condensing the evaporated vapor are provided. A part of the evaporated component condensed by the condensing means 16-18 is returned to the evaporating means 1, and the temp. of the evaporating waste soln. is controlled to a temp. at which ebullition is not caused. As a result, the development of malodor in the evaporation and concentration and the generation of free sulfur, etc., can be prevented. |
