PURPOSE:To prevent molds from being damaged without generating high impulsive force at the time when a one side mold comes into contact with the other mold, by moving the mold at low pressure by confirming that the one side mold has been situated at a starting position for mold protection. CONSTITUTION:A mold is moved up to a starting position for mold protection by a CPU 11 for NC and a completion signal for pulse distribution is sent out by detecting that the mold 6 has entered into an imposition range of the starting position for the mold protection. After confirmation by a CPU 12 for a PMC that the mold 6 has been positioned at the starting position for the mold protection, a completion signal FIN for code treatment is sent out to the CPU 11 for the NC. Consequently, a movable platen 4 and the one side platen 6 begin to move at a high speed, deceleration is performed before arrival to the starting position for the mold protection and positioned at the starting position for the mold protection. Then they are driven at a low speed and low pressure for the mold protection within the mold protective section. Consequently it does not happen due to inertia of the mold 6 and movable platen 4 that they do not move at a preset mold protecting speed and the molds 6, 7 are damaged by colliding against each other. |
