PURPOSE:To filter fine particles without mixing the particles with the fibrous powder to be used in filtration by arranging filter paper at a part closer to the inlet for a material to be filtered than the fibrous powder. CONSTITUTION:When the fine particles ins the material to be filtered are filtered and recovered, filter paper is arranged at the part closer to the inlet for the material to be filtered than the fibrous powder, and hence the material comes into contact with the filter paper earlier than with the powder and collected on the filter paper. Concretely, when a lig. contg. fine particles is poured into a main body 10 from the upper part, the fine particles come into contact with the upper filter paper 7, the greater part of the particles are collected on the filter paper 7, and few particles are passed through the filter paper 7, collected on the cellulose powder 8, and do not come into contact with lower filter paper 7'. The liq. poured along with the particles is passed through the lower filter paper 7', an auxiliary network 5, and a perforated plate 6, and introduced into a filtrate storage tank from a connecting pipe 1. As a result, the fine particles can be filtered without being mixed with the fibrous powder to be used in filtration.
