PURPOSE:To enable stable control of rolling of a transplantation machine, scarcely changing the rolling control sensitivity, etc., by placing a rolling- detection and compensation device to keep the positions of left and right sensor floats relative to a rolling sensor detecting the vertical motion of the floats. CONSTITUTION:When upward motion of one of left and right sensor floats 3 is detected by a rolling sensor 5, the rolling of the transplantation machine is performed by the elongation or retraction of a rolling cylinder 39 to control and keep the transplantation machine parallel to the surface of soil. A float control arm 21 is rotated by a lever 19 of a height-controlling device 4 and the pivot 22 which is a rotational center of each float 18, 3 is vertically moved relative to the machine 2 to change the depth of transplantation. In the above procedure, a lever 36 having the rolling sensor 5 is vertically moved with links 30, 32, etc. almost keeping the parallel state to the sensor float 3. The relative vertical position between the rolling sensor 5 and the shaft 27 is maintained in an almost definite state.
