PURPOSE:To widen the single width radiation frequency band by forming an inner conductor while the spiral winding direction of the split conductor is inverted for each prescribed pitch and forming a slot of an outer conductor corresponding respectively to nearly the midpoint of the adjacent inverted parts of the strip conductor. CONSTITUTION:The inner conductor 32 made of a metallic tape is formed at the outer circumferential of the long center cord 31 made of an insulator whose cross section is circular while the inverting part 33 whose spiral winding direction is inverted for each prescribed pitch is provided. The cylindrical outer conductor 34 is formed to the outer circumferential part of the inner conductor 32 via the insulation support means. A slot 35 is formed corresponding respectively to the nearly midpoint adjacent to each other in the inverting part 33 is formed to the outer conductor 34. In applying a signal current between the inverted part 33 and the external conductor 34, an electric field in the broadwise direction is excited to the slot 35 and the waveform intensity distribution similar to that of a zigzag shaped leakage coaxial cable is obtained.
