PURPOSE:To obtain a stable and highly reliable jointing structure, by constituting a groove between the endfaces of parallel-arranged two extra fine conductors and by projecting both conductors to this groove and pressure- welding them. CONSTITUTION:Jointly provided two conductors 1a of coil strands 1 are pressed with a punch 10 from above to the boundary between conductors 1a and a groove 11 is formed with a projection 10a of the punch 10. Then, with a punch 12 where a flat projection 12a at the bottom is provided, pressing is performed. From one of the conductors 1a of a coil strand 1 the side wall is cut out to extendedly form a conductor section 13 inside the groove 11. The width to be cut out for forming a conductor 13 is 1/4-1/3 or so of the width of the groove 11. Further, with the punch 12 the other one of the conductors 1a of the coil strands 1 is pressed so that the conductor sect on 13 and the conductor section 14 may be overlapped. Finally, the overlapped two conductor sections 13 and 14 are pressed so as to be pressure-welded in plastic flow. In this way, the conductors 1a of the coil strands 1 of internal and external layers can be jointed without the use of an auxiliary material.
