The invention relates to a process for concentrating lead compounds by floatation from wastes and intermediates of the hydrometallurgical production and processing of non-ferrous metals and from complex oxide ores. Lead concentrates suitable for smelting are produced by direct floatation with amines at pH values of </= 3.
