The machine serves for forming signatures and similar products and consists of a stacking cage (3) for forming the signatures and of a turntable (4) arranged below the stacking cage (3) for distributing the formed signatures. To this end, the machine has an ejecting device (21) for removing the signatures from the turntable (4), the ejecting device (21) performing a forward movement (T2, T3, T4), by means of corresponding guides (24, 27), in which the slide (23) moves outside the alignment of the stacking cage (3) for forming the signatures and of the turntable (4) for distributing the signatures. Motor drives (26, 29) for displacing the ejecting device in the predetermined running direction (T) are also provided. <IMAGE>
