PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition by incorporating low-density polyethylene of specified density with magnesium hydroxide, etc. in specified amounts. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of low-density polyethylene with density of 0.85-0.91g/cm<3> with (B) 80-200pts.wt. of magnesium hydroxide with average particle size of pref. 0.8-5mum and (C) 3-10pts.wt. of poly(2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroxyquinoline).
