<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an alkalinizing agent suitable as a degradation-preventing agent and freshness-keeping agent for food, by calcining boiled raw animal bone until the water-content reaches several % or below, cooling the calcination product to normal temperature or below and properly crushing or pulverizing the cooled product. CONSTITUTION:Raw animal bones, preferably bones of an animal rich in hard bones, e.g. cattle, are cut into a size convenient to calcination and boiled in a pressure cooker, etc. The treated bones are introduced into a calcination furnace, etc., and calcined until the water content reaches several % or below. The calcined bones are cooled to normal temperature or lower temperature and crushed or pulverized with a pulverizer, etc., to obtain the objective alkalinizing agent.</p> |
