REINFORCING TYPE POROUS SHEET AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To improve mechanical strength, provide soft hand and make permeability of a fluid such as a liquid or gas favorable, by a method wherein thermal adhesion of a laminated sheet obtained by interposing a thermally adhesive porous sheet between unwoven fabric and a polyolefin porous sheet is performed partly by making use of the unwoven fabric stretched in a lateral direction. CONSTITUTION:A laminated sheet obtained by interposing a thermally adhesive porous sheet between unwoven fabric 4 composed by stretching in a lateral direction and polyolefin porous sheet 5 is stuck together with a partial joining part 3. One, for example, made of polyalkylene resin is recommended as the quality of the material of the unwoven fabric 4. A draw ratio in the lateral direction is decided to be 1.5 or more times as long as a length before stretching, which is preferably in a range of 2-4.5 times. The above-mentioned polyolefin porous sheet 5 is formed of polyolefin type resin such as polyolefin resin or polypropylene resin and the same obtained by making use of a porous body made of linear low density polyethylene resin is especially preferable. The above-mentioned adhesive porous sheet 6 formed of hot melt resin is favorable in its thermal adhesion properties with the polyolefin porous sheet 5 and especially ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin or ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer resin is perferable.
