PURPOSE:To reduce an intermixing of a catalyst and a reaction product and to omit those separating stages by constituting a reaction part of the titled apparatus with a feedstock passage and catalyst passage adjacent thereto through a porous bulkhead. CONSTITUTION:The catalyst reaction equipment consists of the reaction part 1, the feedstock passage 3 which is communicated with the reaction part 1 and the catalyst passage 4 which is communicated with the reaction part 1, and is adjacent to the feedstock passage 4 through the porous bulkhead 2 and is crossed at a right angle to the feedstock passage 3 in the reaction part 1. In further detail, the catalyst passage 3 forms a honeycomb catalyst passage having a plurality of stages, and also the feedstock passage 4 forms the same honeycomb structure. In this catalyst reaction equipment, since the feedstock and the reaction product are separated by the bulkhead 2, the intermixing is restricted. Hence, little reaction product intermixes into the catalyst layer, thus the separating stage of the catalyst and the reaction product can be omitted. |
