A first engagement member (21) is fixed on one end of the lock bar, and a second engagement member (43) is supported by the lock housing (12). The first engagement member (21) is positioned to engage a floor mounted gear select lever or gearshift lever, and the lock housing (12) and the second engagement member (43) are thereafter pulled away from the first engagement member (21), into engagement with the floor mounted brake handle. |
