PURPOSE:To permit to monitor accurately the leakage of water from the main body of the water wheel by a method wherein the leakage of water from the main body of the water wheel is detected and monitored based on a relation between the amount of leaked water from the main body of the water wheel and the same from an orifice provided on the wall of a tank. CONSTITUTION:The leaked water from the main body of the pump is reserved into the tank 6 through a leaked water discharging pipe 2 while the water in the tank 6 leaks from the orifice when the level of water in the tank 6 is higher than the orifice 9. A curve, plotted by a computation based on a relation between the amount Q (l/min) of leaked water from the orifice 9 and the level H (m) of a float, is utilized as a detecting reference. This monitoring device is equipped in this device, therefore, the water leakage from the main body of the pump may be detected and monitored with a good accuracy. |
