<p>The invention relates to a method and device for the accelerated breeding and multiplication of bee colonies. According to the invention, the main chamber (1) forming an initial hive is connected to an intermediate vessel (2) which overhangs the chamber (1) and to which are connected auxiliary chambers (3, 9, 10 and 11) communicating with the intermediate vessel (2); brood combs are placed in the first auxiliary chamber (3) until the development of queen cells; some of these cells are isolated and placed in the auxiliary chambers (9, 10 and 11) with new brood combs taken from the main hive (1), thereby making it possible to form new colonies from a single mother unit situated in the hive (1), almost simultaneously and in any case only a very little distance away. <IMAGE></p> |
