Large package for disposable use comprising several packets 5 of compressed mineral-fibre insulation material, held together in compressed state by means of enclosing locked bands 7. The bands can be partially loosened by the use of band extension loops 13 - made available in advance - which are inserted at determined points at the cutting of the bands. In this way the tension in the bands is appreciably reduced, while the package can be opened in a controlled manner, though still held together, so that individual packets can be removed. <IMAGE> |
