<p>The brake-clutch group consists of a single-piece assembly capable of being easily mounted onto and removed from the control shaft (2) of the press and of being easily fitted on the pulley-wheel (1). A single hydropneumatic control, comprising the jack (14), releases the brake and actuates the clutch, shoes having an antifriction lining being provided, these being easy to replace and offering the possibility of offsetting the wear of the said linings by means of adjusting the springs using a torque wrench, and the possibility of immediately replacing the entire group if necessary, thus minimising machine shutdown periods. <IMAGE></p> |
