PURPOSE:To intend to reduce noise of a V-belt and strengthen it against lateral load by providing two-row chain for which pin positions, in respective chain rows, of a V-belt for a continuously variable transmission are arranged in paralled and shifted from each other in the pitch direction and also making the final assembling load block to be a box type load block. CONSTITUTION:The first chain 3 and from each other in the belt length direction by only a half of each pin pitch 2l in their pin positions, and arranged in parallel practically in a state where the pin pitch is made l. Each load block 5, which receives mainly pully thrust, has a half thickness of the pin pitch land two pieces of block are arranged in respective pin positions of the first pin 32 and the second pin 42 and formed in the shape of box type which surrounds the first and second chains 3, 5. And the final assembling load block 5' is formed in a box type block shape having a plate thickness of the pin pitch l and provided with insertion grooves 54', 54' for inserting pins 32, 42, 33' and 42' in a lateral direction.
