PURPOSE:To lower the overall height of a carburetor by connecting a carburetor body provided therein with a main fuel supply nozzle, to an intake-air manifold while a throttle valve is disposed in an intake-air manifold so as that a low speed fuel port is opened to the throttle valve side CONSTITUTION:A carburetor body 5 having a venturi 5 formed therein with a main fuel supply nozzle 6 and a constant oil level chamber 4 is connected to the riser section 12 of an intake-air manifold 11. The riser section 12 is provided therein with a throttle valve 14, and idle and low speed ports 16, 17 formed in a port chamber 15 are opened to the riser section 12. With this arrangement the overall height of the part corresponding to the carburetor may be made to be low.
