PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality dried product prevented in occurrence of crack and strain, by sending air flow humidified to a prescribed humidity at first into a drying chamber housing a material to be dried, then sending the air flow while successively controlling and lowering the humidity and drying the material. CONSTITUTION:FIC:10 is set so that flow rate in a hole 9a of a material to be dried, e.g. honeycomb-shaped ceramic 9 housed in a drying chamber 1 becomes prescribed rate and a fun 2 is rotated through an inverter 11 to feed the air flow to a supply route 12 and steam adjusted in pressure by automatic pressure adjusting valve 13 is excessively added from humidifying equipment 3 to the supply route 12 and introduced into a cooling equipment 4 consisting of a cooling cylinder and flow made to water saturated air by controlling the temperature of outlet part A to prescribed temperature which is several degree higher than outer atmospheric temperature is introduced into a heat equipment 5. Then air humidified to >=90% relative humidity is at first sent into the drying chamber 1 and started to dry the material and then electric heater 6 is heated according to program pattern prescribed by a program controller 8 through a thyrister 7 and the material is dried while gradually lowering relative humidity until shrinkage of the material 9 to be dried becomes nearly constant. |
