<p>A facsimile transceiver with an automatic dialing signal transmission system automatically dials a secondary receiving station when enable to connect to a primary receiving station. The transceiver includes a first memory circuit for storing the telephone numbers of primary receiving stations, a second memory circuit for storing the telephone numbers of corresponding secondary receiving stations which act as substitutes for the primary stations when the latter are occupied or otherwise unobtainable, a device for detecting non-connection to anyone of primary stations in response to a dialing signal corresponding to one of the telephone numbers stored in the first memory circuit, and a device for automatically transmitting a dialing signal corresponding to the respective telephone number stored in the second memory circuit in response to the non-connection detection.</p> |
