PURPOSE:To hold visibility by forming the surface of a sealing resin including a display symbol with a transparent and heat resistant coating layer to cover the surface. CONSTITUTION:A display symbol 3 is masked corresponding to a display signal on the surface of a sealing resin 1, and engraved with a groove by thermal energy, such as a laser beam. The surface of the symbol 3 of the resin 1 is transparent, and covered with a heat resistant coating material 4. The material 4 is filled in the groove for forming the symbol 3, and coated thicker than the depth of the groove. Thus, the preferable visibility of the display symbol can be held permanently.
