<p>The dish consists of a container (2) with its base (1) extended on one side to make a pressure plate to operate an opening cover (10). The cover is opened by means of a U-shaped bracket beneath the dish, spring loaded and with slots in the outside of its uprights. The dish covers consists of two sector-shaped sides (9), joined by a curved top, with the points of the sectors pivoted to the dish and equipped with cams (13) interacting with the bracket slots. When the cat steps onto the base extension (1) the dish is pressed down in relation to the bracket, causing the cams to rotate the top and open it to reveal the food inside. The cover closes automatically once the pressure on the base is released.</p> |
