摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce or eliminate a cell voltage shift at the time of variation in gate voltage and to simplify a circuit by making switching elements on adjacent scan bus lines different in driving polarity. CONSTITUTION:The switching elements 21 and 22, 22 and 23,... on the adjacent scan bus lines 51 and 52, 52 and 53,... are made different in driving polarity and scan bus line driving voltages VG1 and VG2,... are made different in polarity between the adjacent lines 51 and 52, 52 and 53,... corresponding to the driving polarities of the elements 21 and 22, 22 and 23,..., which are driven. Thus, the gate voltages VG1, VG2,... are made different in polarity between the lines 51 and 52, 52 and 53,..., so liquid crystal cell voltages due to parasitic capacity are opposite in shift direction and voltage shift quantities cancel each other. Further, the potentials VGON, VGOFF, and VC of the scan bus line driving voltages and the value of the parasitic capacity are selected properly to eliminate the shifts of the cell voltages.</p>
