PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and not to take up much space and to rapidly crush a can by arranging plural couples of compression rolls in the longitudinal direction below a waste can throwing cylinder and narrowing intervals between the rolls in order with the proceeding from the upper rolls to the lower rolls. CONSTITUTION:The couple each of upper compression rolls 4, middle compression rolls 5 and lower compression rolls 6 are arranged at three stages in the longitudinal direction right below the throwing cylinder 3 in the upper half part of a frame 2 and a driving device 7 and a compressed can discharge cylinder 8 are provided in the lower half part of the frame 2. The interval l2 between the middle compression rolls 5 becomes narrower than the interval l1 between the upper compression rolls 4 and further, the interval l3 between the lower compression rolls 6 further becomes narrower than the interval l2 between the compression rolls 5 and the waste can is crushed small in order and compressed to a flat body lastly. The upper compression rolls 4 are symmetrical eccentric rolls of the eccentric distance E and the interval l1 between the rolls varies widely and narrowly for every rotation and the tip is formed in a downward claw shape at a place where a tooth form confronts and bites the waste can surely at a wide place and crushes the can to an extent of half the size in accordance with the rotation and it is fed into the middle compression rolls 5. |
