PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous judgement due to temporary measuring errors of an analyzing apparatus by a method wherein the magnetic field intensity of recording data on a magnetic card is read in a plurality of times and a deviation calculated in each time is displayed in superposition on a graph. CONSTITUTION:A control device 4 has an interface circuit 1, an arithmetic processing device 2 and a memory device 3. The input side of the interface circuit 1 is connected with a keyboard 5, a magnetic head 7 and a sensor 8 for sensing a magnetic card, while the output side thereof is connected with a card conveyor device 9, CRT 10 and a printer 11. The arithmetic processing device 2 calculates from outputs of the magnetic head 7 deviations rho0, rho1 from a reference and makes them stored in the memory device 3. Then, the deviation stored in each time of reading is displayed in superposition on a graph which is formed by taking rho0 and rho1 on the Y axis and by taking recording positions of magnetic recording data on the X axis. Based on this display, it is determined, for instance, that a burst P1 is an erroneous operation and that a burst P2 is a faulty spot.
