PURPOSE:To enable the measuring of both vacuum and a high pressure with one manometer, by integrating two Bourdon tubes. CONSTITUTION:A manifold 2 is provided at a pressure introduction port 1 and a Bourdon tube 3 for high pressure and a Bourdon tube 4 for vacuum formed in a hook are connected to the manifold 2. When measuring vacuum, a connecting rod 5'a for the Bourdon tube 4 for vacuum is displaced in response to small vacuum pressure, if any, to turn a point 8 counterclockwise as the Bourdon tube 4 for vacuum has a greater sensitivity to changes in pressure. When measuring a high pressure, the tip of the Bourdon tube 4 for vacuum hits a fixed plate 12 readily even under any small positive pressure. Thus, the pointer 8 turns clockwise to indicate a pressure with the extension of the radius of the Bourdon tube 3 for high pressure.
