PURPOSE:To attain a secure installation and to facilitate a detaching operation by executing a switching operation against the spring force which energizes an engaging pawl in a peripheral direction by means of the turning operation of a tightening ring. CONSTITUTION:In a hood main body 1, since the engaging pawl 3 is energized in the peripheral direction with the spring 4 before installing, the engaging part of the engaging pawl 3 is on the same plane as the internal peripheral plane of the main body 1 or it is a little back to the outside. Next, if the tightening ring 2 is turned in one direction, a part of the ring 2 presses a part of the engaging pawl 3 to the inside and the engaging part of the engaging pawl 3 engages with the peripheral groove of the outer periphery of a lens barrel edge part against the energizing force of the spring 4, so that the main body 1 is fixed on a lens barrel. Therefore, the main body 1 is not carelessly detached from the lens barrel. And if the ring 2 is turned in an opposite direction, the engaging part of the engaging pawl 3 opens with the energizing force of the spring 4, so that detaching can be easily executed.
