PURPOSE:To effectively strip dust deposited on a valve body for ensuring secure sealing by mounting a seal plate provided with flexibility on the peripheral edge of blades of the pivotable valve body and providing an edge portion on the edge of a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:Flexible long and short seal plates 101, 102 are mounted on the edge of a valve body 1 consisting of blades 7 sticked to a rotary shaft 6. A valve seat 103 is constituted from a steel pipe shaft 104 and a pair of long auxiliary valve seats 105 fixedly secured to the shaft 104. The front end 105a of said valve seat 105 is formed like an edge. Also, a short valve sent 106 corresponding to said seal plate 102 is fixed to a valve box 3, and said box 106 is formed on the front end 106a with an edge portion. Thus, dust attached to the seal plates 101, 102 is scraped off by the edge portions 105a, 106a in closing the valve to provide a secure seal.
