PURPOSE:To precisely hold the position of a piezoelectric vibration plate for a base and to facilitate assembling with simple constitution, by forming a slit on the tip of a terminal studded on the bases, and fitting and fixing a holding wire in the slit. CONSTITUTION:The base 11 of a piezoelectric oscillator is formed by filling an insulating material 11B in the hollow part of a metallic cylinder 11A, and studding a pair of terminals 12. And the slit 12A is formed on the tips of the terminals 12, and the holding wire 13 is fitted in the crack 12A. When the piezoelectric oscillator is manufactured, firstly, the holding wire 13 is formed by integrating, in other words, providing a pair of arms 13C protrusively in parallel from both ends of a substrate 13B, and molding so as to provide a holding part 13A on the tip of the arm. And after the both end parts of the base part 13B of the holding wire 13 are fixed between the slits 12A on the tip of the terminals on one end studded on the base 11, the holding wire 13 positioned between the terminals 12 is cut and eliminated at a position Z-Z.
